![]() We route the audio out of the Zoom into a mixer using Dante. Program video is also sent back into Zoom using another computer as a confidence monitor for Zoom contributors.Īudio is the challenging part! Since all participants are usually on the same call, we only need the Zoom audio from one of the Mac Mini's to hear each person. These Zoom 'cameras' get vision mixed with NDI/SRT cameras and presentation graphics create the Program video. We 'pin' every Zoom person full screen to their own monitor, disable chat and pop and hide the participant list. We convert each of the HDMI outputs to SDI and run it into our ATEM constellation. We use 5 (or more) Mac Minis, each with dual monitor output. What do you think about the Pros and Cons of using OBS.Ninja versu Streamyard / restream.io purely for the remote guest feature? How's the quality in comparison, latency and easiness to use? I was thinking, if I could just use Streamyard / Restream.io for the remote guest feature, and then put it on Zoom via virtual webcam. (We have Lan connection though), I tried OBS NINJA and it seems much better. ![]() We normally bring in everything to my Mac and put overlay and then output it to Zoom as virtual webcam.įirst, Ecamm only supports 4 guests, but even this alreay really taxes my Macbook Pro Quad Core CPU (2017) a lot, so sometimes I can see the remote guest is freezing for few seconds. Mostly Talk show with remote guest, and sometimes presentation from remote guests too. We host lots of Zoom Webinar with about 100 to 800 attendees. One struggle I normally faced is having remote guests dial in to Ecamm via interview mode (Ecamm is OBS liked program, but for Mac, in has internal feature to let remote guest dial in), and then output to Zoom.
